Description
An account of the resource
This kid worked with her friends to produce an incredible documentary on Katherine Johnson and Mae Jemison for VT History Day. Even after school was canceled (as was any chance to do work in person), the projects became optional, and the award ceremony was virtual. They won 1st place in their division and it was so sweet to watch her hear it announced as she FaceTimed with her friends. Different, for sure, but there’s hope with these kids.
