Description
An account of the resource
The Vermont Strong sign has been in this field next to Route 2A for much of the past year. The sign resembles the Vermont Strong license plate that was sold to raise relief funds following Tropical Storm Irene in 2011. I first saw the sign in June 2020 when I drove to Vergennes Union High School to present Vermont History Day awards to students safely in the parking lot. I took the photograph in May 2021 coming back from Vergennes after presenting Vermont History Day awards in a COVID-safe outdoor mini-ceremony for a second year.
