"The Department of Health reported 78 new cases of the coronavirus and two new deaths on Wednesday [February 24, 2021]. Total cases in Vermont since the beginning of the pandemic now number 14,768, and total deaths number 201.
As of Wednesday, 28 people were hospitalized with confirmed cases of Covid-19. Ten of those people were in intensive care, and four more were hospitalized with a suspected case.
The state reported that 1,031,951 tests have been administered for the illness in Vermont since mid-March. As of Wednesday, 327,343 people had been tested. The seven-day average positivity rate was 1.5%."
