Virus in ski towns
Title
Virus in ski towns
Description
"The rise in cases in Stowe last week has slowed, knocking the ski town out of the top category of cases per population, according to data from the Department of Health.
But Killington and Stratton in southern Vermont, which dropped out of the top tier weeks ago, are back in it, joined by another ski town: Burke.
The ski towns may be reporting high cases due to a health department initiative to test skiers. According to Dr. Mark Levine, state health commissioner, the department has coordinated with resorts to offer on-the-spot testing to anyone who wanted it."
