Doctor appointment by phone

Doctor's office visits were reserved for people who absolutely had to be seen in person. My appointment with the sleep lab at North Country Hospital in Newport that had been scheduled in March of 2019 as an office visit but ended up being done over the phone as it was not an urgent need to be seen. I had never had an over the phone appointment with a doctor before and it seemed very impersonal and odd.
