Title

Effectiveness of Beau Tie Masks

Description

At the beginning of the pandemic people started wearing cloth masks to protect themselves from the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes Covid-19. In December 2021 public health officials began to discourage use of single layer cloth masks in favor of KN95 masks. Beau Ties of Vermont tested their double layer masks with filter inserts and published the results that showed that they blocked "almost 99% of airborne particles, including viruses and bacteria."
